AARON N. HALSTEAD
Aaron Halstead is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Iowa (B.A., with honors and high distinction, 1987) and of Brigham Young University Law School (J.D., with honors, 1990). Mr. Halstead's practice is focused on labor and employment litigation, as well as on worker's compensation, where he devotes a substantial portion of his practice to representing injured Spanish-speaking employees. He also has served as a private mediator and arbitrator to parties involved in employment-related litigation.
Mr. Halstead has been a Member of the Board of Directors for the State Bar of Wisconsin's Labor and Employment Section (1998-2005, 2007 to 2010), and served as the Board's Chairperson in 2003-2004. He has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America in the area of Labor and Employment Law each year since 2003, and in Worker's Compensation each year since 2009.
Mr. Halstead has represented employees and labor organizations before the Wisconsin Supreme Court, the Wisconsin Court of Appeals, the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and the United States District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Wisconsin, as well as before various state and federal administrative agencies.
