SUMMER MURSHID
Summer's law practice is focused on labor and employment matters. She works with individual clients in the areas of employment discrimination, disability and unemployment appeals, and fair labor standards violations. Summer also does work for several union clients.
Summer received her law degree from the Georgetown University Law Center. While earning her J.D., Summer worked on employment policy issues at Workplace Flexibility 2010, a non-profit clinic based at Georgetown. She also worked as an intern for the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law and Women Empowered Against Violence.
Summer graduated magna cum laude from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and has bachelor’s degrees in economics criminal justice. As an undergraduate, Summer interned at the Legal Aid Society of Milwaukee.
Summer is a member of the Association of Women Lawyers, the Milwaukee Bar Association, the State Bar of Wisconsin, the American Bar Association and the Labor and Employment Relations Association.
