Attorneys Richard Saks and Timothy Hawks will address the future of public sector labor unions in light of Wisconsin’s recent anti-union legislation. Mr. Saks will be speaking at the AFL-CIO Lawyers’ Coordinating Committee Conference, held in San Diego on April 27, 2011. The presentation is a part of a program titled, “Laboratories in the Survival of Public Sector Unionism – Wisconsin and Ohio.”

Additionally, on April 13, 2011, Mr. Hawks will be speaking about Wisconsin’s public sector collective bargaining bill at the American Federation of Teachers 2011 Attorneys’ Conference, which is held in New York City. Mr. Hawks’ presentation is a part of a program titled, “A Review of the Most Prominent Attacks on Public Employees Collective Bargaining Rights and the Union’s Ability to Rely on Payroll Deductions for Dues and COPE Contributions.” A copy of Mr. Hawks’ outline may be found here.
