YANG SPEAKS ABOUT LEGAL ISSUES FACING THE HMONG COMMUNITY IN WISCONSIN

Attorney Kashoua Yang gave a presentation on cultural competence at the Legal Aid Society on October 28, 2011. Attorney Yang spoke on the gaps between the Hmong dispute resolution process and the legal system. Additionally, Attorney Yang and Professor Chia Youyee Vang from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee will give a presentation on Hmong cultural practices in the family court context on December 19, 2011.
