Jessa Victor is an associate attorney in Hawks Quindel’s Madison office. Her practice area focuses on employee benefits and long term disability insurance claims. She values the importance of a client-focused practice. In addition to keeping clients informed, she is attentive to their input so as to ensure they are not passive observers in their own cases.
As a long term disability attorney, Jessa advocates for disabled workers who have been denied benefits by their employer-sponsored disability insurance provider. Additionally, as someone who has experienced the effects of disability in her own family, she understands the need for compassionate representation during such challenging times. Jessa also represents individuals with claims for benefits in connection with their employer-sponsored retirement, health insurance, or life insurance plans.
When not at work, Jessa is an outdoors enthusiast who delights in ultra-marathon running, backpacking, and rock climbing (often bringing her dog along on the adventure). She also enjoys exploring Dane County’s farmers’ markets, experimenting with new recipes, and visiting the Aldo Leopold Nature Center.
Jessa graduated law school from the University of Wisconsin in 2016 and joined Hawks Quindel as an associate attorney in 2018.
During law school, she served as a Senior Managing Articles Editor for the Wisconsin Journal of Law, Gender & Society. She also worked with the Family Law Project at the University of Wisconsin’s Frank J. Remington Center, representing incarcerated clients in a wide range of family law matters.
Jessa is admitted to practice in Wisconsin state courts. She is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Legal Associate for Women, and the Dane County Bar Association. She also serves on the board of directors for NAMI Dane County.
