Katherine Charlton is in the process of preparing a chapter on employment law in a new book the State Bar of Wisconsin expects to publish in late 2014 or early 2015 concerning advising LGBT clients. The new treatise will assist Wisconsin lawyers in advising LGBT clients on a variety of matters. Charlton’s chapter is one devoted to an overview of state and federal employment laws as those laws uniquely relate to LGBT clients. Charlton was invited by the book’s coordinating author, Attorney Christopher Krimmers, and the State Bar, to author this particular chapter given her work in employment law, her participation in prior State Bar employment law treatises, and her work with LGBT clients. Several Hawks Quindel attorneys have contributed to a variety of prior State Bar publications.
