Attorney Carlson’s presentation, entitled “The New Overtime Rule or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Embrace the Change,” addresses FLSA coverage for nonprofits and their employees, as well as strategies for complying with the Department of Labor’s updated overtime regulation, which increases the salary threshold for overtime exemptions to $47,476 and will take effect December 1 of this year.
