Introducing Madison’s 3 Newest Attorneys

We are excited to introduce Hawks Quindel's newest additions - Attorney Gabriel Manzano, Attorney Emma Knatterud-Johnson, and Attorney Forrest Stewart.  Attorney Knatterud-Johnson joined Hawks Quindel as a law clerk in 2021, working part-time during her second and third years of law school. As a law clerk, she worked on a breadth of cases—employment discrimination, employee benefits, employment contracts, wage and hour issues, personal injury, and civil rights. Now, as a full-time attorney, Attorney Knatterud-Johnson brings her years of lived and practical experience, diligence, and compassion to her clients. Attorney Manzano joined Hawks Quindel as an associate, Attorney Manzano worked with Legal Action of Wisconsin’s Farmworker Project for two years. Throughout his legal education, Attorney Manzano also interned for the University of Wisconsin Law School’s Immigrant Justice Clinic and volunteered with the Community Immigration Law Center. Attorney Stewart joined Hawks Quindel as a clerk during his second year of law school. During law school, Attorney Stewart worked with the Neighborhood Law Clinic, representing clients in employment and housing matters, including discrimination claims and security deposit disputes. He was also Co-President of UW’s National Lawyers Guild Chapter and a recipient of the Michael Weiner Scholarship for Labor Studies, a program supporting the efforts of law students dedicated to improving the lives of workers.
