Attorney David Zoeller is a Madison social security disability attorney and a wage and hour lawyer, who has a passion for representing workers. He is an experienced litigator who will fight for your wages and benefits.

Attorney Zoeller is a Shareholder at Hawks Quindel. His practice focuses on helping employees recover unpaid wages, including overtime wages, through both individual and class action cases. Beyond this, he is an experienced Madison social security disability attorney, who regularly represents disabled workers at all levels of the SSI and/or SSDI application and appeals process, including claims in federal court.

Madison Social Security Disability Attorney

At Hawks Quindel, we strive to offer clients personal, thorough, and highly effective legal representation. As a social security disability client, you will work with a team of Madison staff and attorneys with the depth and breadth of experience needed to see your claim through, from application to approval. Attorney Zoeller will work directly with you at each step of the process, and is an experienced advocate with a track record of success in social security disability hearings. Our Madison social security attorney team has both the compassion and persistence to see your claim through what can be a difficult process.

Madison Wage and Hour Litigator

Attorney Zoeller represents both individuals and classes of employees in recovering wages. Through class and collective actions, Attorney Zoeller has helped thousands of workers recover millions of dollars in unpaid overtime wages. Additionally, Attorney Zoeller frequently litigates wage and hour claims on behalf of one or a handful of individuals. Because wage and hour laws provide a right to recover attorney’s fees, Hawks Quindel is typically able to take these claims without any upfront payment of attorney’s fees or costs, and with no recovery of attorney’s fees unless we recover wages for you.

Recognition & Experience

Attorney Zoeller has been selected as a Super Lawyer every year since 2016, and was selected as a Rising Star from 2011 to 2016. He has also been named a Best Lawyer every year since 2016. Attorney Zoeller was also recognized by the Wisconsin Lawyer as an Up and Coming Lawyer in 2012 and by Best Lawyers as a Lawyer of the Year in 2021.

Attorney Zoeller has served as class counsel in numerous successful class action wage and hour claims (see below). He has spoken on wage and hour issues at the University of Wisconsin Law School, Marquette University Law School, and on behalf of the Wisconsin State Bar. Attorney Zoeller is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives, and has brought Social Security disability cases to hearing throughout the state of Wisconsin. He has helped countless individuals gain approval of social security disability benefits, both at hearing and, in some cases, without the necessity of a hearing. Attorney Zoeller graduated with honors from Colgate University in 2002, and received his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School with honors in 2007.

Attorney Zoeller helped me with a disability issue. I was greatly reassured by his knowledge of the subject area, and ability to zero in on the relevant topics. He had a laser focus on my goals and interests legally. He was also highly responsive, friendly, and down-to-earth. I would hire him in a heartbeat for any future matter.

David is an exceptional attorney. He is a keen listener, paying attention to details you may not know are important, and a logical thinker, a mastermind in developing a successful strategy. He keeps you informed, and explains things in a manner that is easy to understand. David is a devoted and trustworthy attorney who will do his best for you. Working with David is a pleasure.

In 2010 I returned home from my second deployment. In 2012, I was told by the VA I couldn’t return to the job I was working at. It is now 2019, and through this 7 years of needing legal representation, David and Hawks have had my back through 3 separate issues: short term disability, social security disability, and a class action, wage an hour lawsuit. They batted a 100%, winning all 3. Overall, David and his staff are professional, responsive, veteran friendly, and genuine. David’s legal assistant Elizabeth Oppeneer is a sweetheart, and probably needs a raise after knowing what I put her through. While David is a great guy and a better attorney, I am thankful that I had this team fighting on my side. Thank you David, Elizabeth, and Hawks! I hope I never need an attorney again, but if I do, you have my business!
