Attorney Tylka is a senior associate attorney at Hawks Quindel’s Madison office practicing in the areas of long term disability benefits and worker's compensation law. She has successfully resolved hundreds of workers’ compensation and disability claims and regularly handles complex and contested matters through hearings and litigation. Clients appreciate her clear communication, practical guidance, and steady advocacy during what is often one of the most stressful times in their lives.

Attorney Tylka lives in Madison with her husband, a fellow Hawks Quindel employee.

When she’s not working, she enjoys reading, crocheting, and unwinding with video games, where she puts her creativity and problem-solving skills to work in a lower-stakes setting. She is also active in the Madison faith community, volunteering with her church and in other ministries in the Madison area, as well as serving on the board of directors for Shelter from the Storm Ministries.

Experience

Attorney Tylka has worked at Hawks Quindel since 2016, stating as a legal assistant, returning as a law clerk while in law school, and being admitted as an attorney in September 2021. In January 2026, she was promoted to senior associate attorney. Over nearly five years of practice, she has secured numerous favorable outcomes for clients and has become a trusted advocate for workers and employees statewide.

Attorney Tylka has a passion for oral advocacy and honed her skills through active involvement in BU’s Moot Court program, participating in the Edward C. Stone Moot Court Competition, Homer Albers Prize Moot Court Competition, and Seigenthaler-Sutherland Cup National First Amendment Competition across her second and third years of law school. In October 2022, she successfully argued her first appellate argument in front of the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
