Attorney Katherine Charlton will become a Fellow of the Wisconsin Law Foundation (the Foundation) on October 18, 2016 at a ceremony in Milwaukee. The Foundation was established in 1999 to honor members of the State Bar of Wisconsin who have “achieved significant accomplishments in their career and contributed leadership and service to their communities”. Approximately 250 are currently Fellows of the Foundation. The mission of the Foundation is to advance public understanding of the law and improve the administration of justice. The Foundation honored Charlton in 1996 with its Donald O’Melia Award for Local Service for her work to provide pro bono representation to economically-challenged persons. She will join her Hawks Quindel colleague, Marsha Mansfield, as a Fellow.
