UNUM's History of Disability Insurance Denials
The Unum Group is an insurance company, formally known as UnumProvident, that is based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. About a decade later, Unum settled a class action claim brought against it that accused the company of improperly calculating long-term disability benefit payments.
