CHARLTON TO MODERATE 2013 EQUAL JUSTICE CONFERENCE ON MARCH 8, 2013
Katherine Charlton will be a host and moderator for the 2013 Equal Justice Conference in Madison on March 8, 2013, in her role as Chair of the Legal Assistance Committee of the State Bar of Wisconsin. She will join Wisconsin Supreme Court Chief Judge Shirley Abrahamson and UW Madison Law School Dean Margaret Raymond in welcoming participants. More than 100 participants from around the state will spend the day discussing ways to develop, sustain, expand and fund pro bono projects. Speakers from Georgia, Minnesota and Illinois, as well as Wisconsin, will make presentations. The event will conclude with the awarding of pro bono awards by the Legal Assistance Committee and the Public Interest Law Section.
