One of the Hawks Quindel’s clients, AFT Wisconsin, recently won the right to serve as the exclusive bargaining agent for the faculty at UW Superior and UW Eau Claire. The results were remarkable: Over 70 percent of the faculty at both institutions voted for AFT Wisconsin. The Wisconsin Legislature authorized collective bargaining for the faculty and academic staff in 2009. Attorney Timothy Hawks contributed to the drafting of the relevant legislation.
