United States District Court Judge William Conley has ordered Consolidated Terminals, Inc. (CTI) to pay $457,275.65 in unpaid back overtime wages and as liquidated damages to the 87 individuals participating in this overtime lawsuit. This lawsuit was brought against CTI by attorneys William Parsons and David Zoeller in 2009 on behalf any CTI delivery driver who worked overtime during the past three years. The lawsuit alleged that these delivery drivers were improperly classified as exempt from overtime wages. District Judge Conley’s order comes as a result of CTI’s default, after it failed to defend the lawsuit.
