Attorneys Aaron Halstead and David Zoeller secured a judgment of $121,565.66 on behalf of a group of roofers who were not paid for travel time, meal breaks, pre and post shift work time, and who were not paid at the proper overtime rates. Judge William M. Conley of the Western District of Wisconsin entered the judgment on January 12, 2011, the judgment can be found here. The Plaintiffs alleged that they were required to perform work prior to and after arriving that their job sites each day. Under federal and state law, employees must be paid for all hours that they work for their employers, including certain time spent preparing for to the day’s work.
