On October 5, 2010, Attorney Aaron Halstead filed a gender discrimination claim on behalf of Autumn Drussell, the former editor of the Stoughton Courier Hub newspaper. The newspaper demoted Drussell after she wrote an editorial column that angered some of the newspaper’s advertisers. The newspaper did not, however, demote or take any other disciplinary action against Drussell’s male superior who had reviewed the column before it was published.
