On January 3, 2011, SEIU Health Care Wisconsin held Inauguration Day events. Hundreds of union members traveled to Madison to communicate to new Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker that his job creation promises must be more than campaign rhetoric. Union members held events at the Monona Terrace Convention Center and the Capitol steps. Attorneys Nicholas Fairweather and Barbara Zack Quindel assisted the union with the events.
