Overview

Timothy P. Maynard is a shareholder at Hawks Quindel’s Milwaukee office, where he has practiced since 2013. Since that time, he has represented employees in claims for unpaid minimum wages, agreed-upon wages, and overtime paylong-term disability benefitsshort-term disability benefitsSocial Security Disability benefitsrace discriminationsex discriminationsexual harassmentseverance agreements; and non-compete agreements. He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, the Supreme Court of the State of Wisconsin, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, as well as the United States District Courts for the Eastern Districts of Wisconsin, Michigan, and Missouri, and the Western District of Wisconsin.

Attorney Maynard takes pride in assisting his clients to navigate some of the unexpected issues that can arise in the workplace – whether it be providing for their families when medical issues prevent an individual from working, or asserting their rights to make sure that they are properly paid for all hours worked as required by federal and Wisconsin law. He focuses his representation on the practical and legal aspects of clients’ issues, to ensure they receive an outcome that is in their best interests as quickly as possible.

Outside of work, Attorney Maynard stays busy raising his young children with his wife. Typically, that means he and his wife enjoy Milwaukee’s lakefront, restaurants, and local sports teams with kids in tow, whenever he is not in the office and the weather allows.

Experience

As one of Hawks Quindel’s Milwaukee wage and hour attorneys, Attorney Maynard has helped employees recover millions of dollars in unpaid wages from their employers in both individual and class action lawsuits. From unpaid minimum wages to overtime pay, he has successfully represented workers in a diverse set of industries and positions, which include restaurant workers, customer service representatives, construction workers, environmental services and janitorial employees, nurses, manufacturing employees, and many other jobs where employers often violate workplace protections.

Attorney Maynard also devotes a large portion of his practice to helping disabled persons deal with the ins-and-outs of seeking disability benefits – whether through insurers providing short-term or long-term disability benefits, or the Social Security Administration. Attorney Maynard has helped individuals assert their rights to disability benefits from the initial application process, to appealing an insurer’s denial or cessation of benefits, and into litigation — so that they can protect their rights and families when they are most in need of an advocate.
